The Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund is going to bring together industry and researchers to solve some of the really big challenges that we’re facing. 

They will have a benefit to society as well as a benefit to business.

And what it’s enabling us to do is go from the basic research that’s often done in universities through building prototypes to real deployments in the real world and it’s that combination which is so exciting about the possibilities here for this research fund.

It’s a multi-million pound investment that will be managed by UK Research and Innovation.
