AMMA members have the opportunity to learn from workplace drug and alcohol experts at an upcoming workshop hosted by the Australasian Medical Review Officers Association (AMROA).
Attendees at the Workplace Drug & Alcohol Workshop – A Seminar for Program Development will hear from industry leaders while learning how to refine or revisit their relevant policies.
The seminar will feature highly-skilled lecturers and coordinators in the field of alcohol and other drug (AOD), including doctors, lawyers and a toxicologist.
Facilitators include expert medical faculty from AMROA as well as other subject matter experts and invited guest speakers.
Workplace professionals seeking to implement a policy and/or testing, or those wanting to update their policy have the opportunity to go back to their organisations with a draft policy and information to help answer key questions.
The workshop is a highly interactive one-day session with attendees learning the answers to many key questions on testing, legal obligations and frameworks, and more importantly, know where and when to question policy decisions.
AMROA’s mission is to contribute to safe and healthy, alcohol and drug free workplaces by promoting the highest standards of medical practice and advice provided to organisations undertaking AOD programs.
