- Dustin Price and Brandi Madden discuss the value that military veterans bring to any workforce, especially water jobs, and share their stories of moving from the military to the water sector. Price, maintenance manager at Portland (Maine) Water District, is a veteran of the U.S. Navy, and Madden, service technician at WhiteWater Inc. (Charlton, Mass.), is a water purification specialist with the Massachusetts National Guard. Price also describes the Water Warriors program that helps veterans transition into water careers.
- Michael Murphy, director of water innovation at the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (Boston), talks about the water-energy nexus, the need to innovate the public’s relationship with water, the challenge of getting new technology widely adopted, and the idea of a system-benefits charge on water bills to fund innovation.

- Eliza Roberts, Ceres (Boston) agricultural water stewardship program manager, talks about the food-water nexus, how investors are examining how food companies manage water resources and consider climate change risks, ways to improve water management practices, and reducing the effect of agriculture on water resources.
