The Asian Development Bank’s regional assistance program in the Pacific is guided by the Pacific Approach, 2016–2020. 

It outlines a three-pronged strategy for: (i) reducing costs of doing business and providing social services; (ii) managing risks from economic shocks, natural disasters, and climate change impacts; and (iii) enabling value creation by supporting private sector growth and investment.
