Visiting fellow of the Climate Change Institute, Ngaio Fitzpatrick, currently has an exhibiton titled Dissonance showing at the Canberra Museum and Gallery.

The exhibition is accompanied by music by composer Alexander Hunter.

The exhibition will be showing until 3 October 2020. As the exhibition is in the outward-facing display room of the Gallery, facing out towards Civic Square, it is recommended that it be viewed at nighttime for optimal visibility.

"The installation Dissonance is about time: our relatively brief time and geological or ‘deep’ time. Until recently, both existed independently. Both have now been inextricably linked by our dependence on fossil fuels. Having just passed the winter solstice, one cannot help but think our time is passing." - Ngaio Fitzpatrick
