The Future Earth Regional Office for Southern Africa (FEROSA) is conducting a Situational and Needs Analysis of the Sustainability and Environmental Research Landscape in the Southern African Region to establish both internal and external factors that may determine its form and function in the region.

This survey targets stakeholders with research and innovation activities closely aligned with policies and strategies on sustainability research in Southern Africa. The survey invites inputs from government departments/institutions, private sector businesses, and associations, developmental partners, researchers, and research institutions as well as civil society organizations (CSOs) who are based in Southern Africa as well those institutions who implement activities in the region.

The study will provide FEROSA with evidence to help establish a niche within the regional sustainability research and innovation landscape to better support institutions and practitioners in the region.

You are invited to participate in this 10-15 minutes cross-sectional questionnaire survey. We greatly value your views, and we hope to  receive your feedback to guide our future direction.

The survey will close on 13 November 2020. We would appreciate it if you would respond before then.
