IEEP has a vacancy for a head of communications. It is a key and development-oriented role within a busy, dynamic think tank looking to strengthen its visibility, branding and the impact of its communications.
The successful candidate will be in charge of implementing the IEEP communications strategy as well as tasks within projects which are focused on communications (H2020, service contracts, grants). They will also be responsible for developing and managing IEEP’s communication team.
In addition to the day-to-day tasks, including managing the IEEP website, social media, press enquiries, etc., the post holder will be expected to contribute to the communication component of research projects and to identify opportunities for enhancing the institute’s visibility.
As well as working closely with the Executive Director and IEEP’s executive management group, the post holder will frequently liaise with the wider IEEP team members to ensure consistent messaging both internally and externally. They will be responsible for the coordination of communication activities for Think Sustainable Europe.
Location: Brussels
Salary: € 45,000 - € 50,000 annual gross, depending on skills and experience
