Geneva, 14 May 2021 – Infineum, a specialty chemicals company whose purpose is to create a sustainable future through innovative chemistry, has joined nearly 200 forward-thinking companies as the newest member of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD).

Established in January 1999, Infineum is a world leader in the formulation, manufacturing and marketing of petroleum additives for lubricants and fuels.

Headquartered in Oxfordshire, Infineum employs just under 2,000 people around the globe. It draws on a rich heritage that is underpinned by leading edge research and development activities. Delivering through powerful research and development capabilities, connecting with WBCSD’s network of forward-thinking businesses, across a variety of sectors, will allow Infineum to increase its impact on global sustainability.
