Following on from the first events in this discussion series, we now present an event focused on the permafrost. The event will take place on 17 January 2022, 16:00-17:30 CET.
The event will include two excellent talks:
- An update on permafrost tipping – Hanne Hvidtfeld Christiansen
- Model insight on permafrost change - Gustaf Hugelius
The talks will be followed by 20 minutes of formal discussions and, for those who wish to stay on, a further 25 minutes of informal discussions on the topic.
This discussion series is a joint activity of Analysis, Integration, and Modeling of the Earth System (AIMES), the Earth Commission, and the World Climate Research Programme (WCRP) Safe Landing Climates Lighthouse Activity.
