A sneak peek at the programme

On the afternoon of 29 June, IEEP and IDDRI will welcome speakers and participants from the European institutions and the Trio Presidency of the European Union, to discuss the main results of the second edition of the European Green Deal Barometer (check the first edition here) and reflect on what is needed to advance Green Deal implementation. The Barometer results are based on the views of over 300 sustainability experts collected through a Europe-wide survey conducted by IEEP between April and May 2022.

The Barometer will cover very current topics such as the ongoing war in Ukraine and the main barriers to the implementation of the Green Deal. It also features a focus on France and the three other countries holding the EU Council Presidencies in 2022 and 2023: the Czech Republic, Sweden and Spain.

Some first results were shared during our EU Green Week event “Russia’s war in Ukraine: Why doubling down on the Green Deal is the best strategy”. Check the recording if you missed it!

The second day of the conference, 30 June, will look at key thematic areas – ranging from climate and energy to sustainable food systems – and refine policy recommendations.

More information on speakers and agenda is available on the Think2030 website and on IEEP’s social media channels. Make sure to follow us!

We look forward to welcoming you in Paris.

For this special edition of the Think2030 conference, we have strengthened the engagement of the private sector in the platform. We are glad to announce that Tetra Pak and IBMA have officially joined Think2030, and other names will be announced soon. We believe that bringing together many of the stakeholders that are key to the implementation of the European Green Deal can only help make the Green Deal a success, and hope to contribute to that with Think2030.
