The Paris Global Hub is seeking an administrative officer to help advance our work on transformations towards sustainability. The administrative officer will work in a dynamic international environment. He or she will lead the coordination and administrative management of the Paris Hub under the direction of the Global Hub Director and in close collaboration with the other team members. He or she will also interact regularly with the teams at the other Hubs (Montreal, Tokyo, Stockholm, Colorado), and in particular their Coordinators.

The main activities will include:

• Managing the administration of the Paris Hub (HR, finance, contract agreement, etc) by interacting with the diverse administrative units at CNRS
• Coordinating with the other Global Hubs (Montreal, Tokyo, Stockholm, Colorado)
• Organising events in France and occasionally internationally
• Preparing activity and administration reports
• Editing and updating documents
• Creating and updating webpages

Candidate qualifications

• Proven competencies in budget, administration and logistics management (including internships)
• Higher education degree, e.g. Bachelor or Master in Business or Public Administration, International Development, or a related field
• Fluent in English and French (mandatory requirement)
• Excellent organisation and communication skills
• Versatile, dynamic and capable of working independently
• Experience working in a complex project (including as an intern or volunteer)
• Interest in environmental issues. Experience working in an sustainable development focused organisation would be an advantage.

Le/la coordinateur/trice – gestionnaire travaillera dans un environnement international dynamique. Il ou elle prendra en charge la coordination et la gestion du hub parisien sous l’autorité du directeur et en forte interaction avec les autres membres de l’équipe. Il ou elle interagira également avec les équipes des autres hubs (Montréal, Tokyo, Stockholm, Colorado), notamment avec leurs coordinateurs/trices.

Ces principales missions seront les suivantes :

• Gestion administrative du Hub parisien (RH, finance, contractualisation, etc.) en interaction avec diverses unités administratives du CNRS.
• Coordination avec les autres hubs du secrétariat (Montréal, Tokyo, Stockholm, Colorado).
• Organisation d’évènements en France et occasionnellement à l’étranger.
• Préparation de rapports d’activité et administratifs.
• Edition et mise en forme de documents.
• Conception et actualisation de pages web.

Compétences requises

• Compétences avérées en gestion administrative, budgétaire (y compris en tant que stagiaire ou bénévole).
• Diplôme de l’enseignement supérieur, p.ex. licence ou Master en gestion des entreprises et des administrations, ou équivalent.
• Anglais et français courants.
• Excellentes capacités d’organisation et de communication.
• Polyvalence, dynamisme, savoir travailler en autonomie.
• Expérience de travail dans un projet complexe (y compris en tant que stagiaire ou bénévole).
• Intérêt pour les enjeux environnementaux. Une expérience dans une organisation dont les missions concernent le développement durable sera considérée comme un atout.
